SimTrans is an online transaction manager that bridges the gap between SigmaNEST and your other business systems. Each installation of SimTrans is customized for your specific setup to process specific information and provide feedback in real time.
The goal of this product is to give you a single point of entry for all data, preventing duplicate work and reducing the risk of human error.
You can configure SimTrans to recognize specific information as it is entered into your MRP system, and communicate that data to SigmaNEST through transactions. For example, if a SigmaNEST part is added to a work order in your MRP system, a transaction will pass that data through SimTrans to SigmaNEST.
Nearly anything that could be imported or added to SigmaNEST can be processed from your MRP system through SimTrans, including work orders, quotes, inventory sheets, Cut-to-Length orders, and more. There are very few restrictions on the type of information that SimTrans can process.
SimTrans also pushes updates and information back into your MRP system. These transactions update work order part quantities, programs which have been run, sheets which were used, and any other information that should be updated from SigmaNEST processes and products.
