This article is the third in a four-part series on the basics of using SigmaNEST. Other articles in this series:
- (Basics) Import or create parts
- (Basics) Create a task and nest
- (Basics) Post code and generate reports
After you've nested parts, the next step is to apply toolpath to the nest layout.
On the Nesting NC tab, in the Nesting NC group, click Auto NC.
- Use the Auto NC settings to determine how your nest layout will be processed. You can set cut order, cropping and destruct preferences, common cut settings, and more.
When you have finished modifying your settings, click OK to apply toolpath to the nest.
After applying toolpath, you can simulate the NC sequence to ensure that the toolpath was applied correctly.
On the Quick Access Toolbar, click the NC Simulate button.
Click Play to start the simulation.
